Study Lincoln's life and work
Finding information about President Abraham Lincoln is not difficult. The challenge is finding appropriate classroom materials students can understand. Consequently, we've tried to locate sites that offer an array of resources covering everything from basic timelines to Lincoln's success as a war-time leader. The list includes something for every grade and reading level.

Alan Haskvitz notes he once wrote a story called "Lincoln, Our Strongest President" about Lincoln's accomplishment as a wrestler, lifter of chicken houses and rail splitter. This idea may provide some avenues for student research. Others could include research about his failures, his family and the changes in his face as the stress of the presidency and his personal life took its toll. Printing out a series of pictures from first to last is quite compelling.
