Techies Day is for everyone

In 1999, a consortium of government and industry leaders, in association with Techies.com, developed Techies Day to encourage students of all ages to learn more about technology careers. This year’s observance is Oct. 7.

The purpose of the day was to help address long-term demands for technology workers, as well as to promote career awareness and achievement. To support these goals, technology professionals and organizations volunteer their time and skills. Look for individuals and groups in your area that will help you develop the use of technology in your classroom. And, check the numerous resources available online. Choose from:
